"Science is the brain, while photography is the the heart." (Daisy Gilardini, Nature's Best 2016 Grand Prize Winner)
Hi, thanks for visiting my site. Photography is the seizure of a moment that can never be repeated; unfortunately, images captured by the camera will not have the same emotional impact as the experience. But, these images will help to remember how I felt at the time and enable others to participate in the encounter. I consider myself a “Critter Junkie” and believe the hunt is equal to the thrill of creating the image. I grew up on the Prairies of Canada where various types of wildlife inhabited the landscape within eyesight of my house. I now live in the province of British Columbia and once again I have wildlife living close to my home. My family has a love for the environment with a strong focus on conservation.
